What's a Winter Beaveree/Cuboree

The Carleton Winter Beaveree/Cuboree is a day-long event held in the Winter for Beavers and Cubs.  The event starts off with an opening ceremony, then the games begin. Beavers and Cubs  rotate through separate age-appropriate activities with a break for lunch.  The event ends with a closing ceremony.

This year the theme is Ice Age, selected by participating youth, along with this year's crest.  Crests from previous years can be seen below.

Each section registering their youth in the Beaveree/Cuboree is responsible for developing an activity for the rotation. See How to Contribute a Great Activity. , which explains how Scouters and youth develop an activity using Plan-Do-Review.  If the section's youth are stuck for ideas, potential activities for Beavers can be found on the Beaver Activities page and for Cubs on the Cub Activities pageOnce a game is agreed upon, it is registered with the Games Coordinator.
